Ahh…food. Unless your name is Captain Raymond Holt, you probably love to eat. Food is my favorite thing, aside from…nothing.
But, aside from food, I do love a good love story. So then I thought: what better than a combination of the two???
And thus I present:
8 Romance Novels that Feature FOOD (you’re welcome)
A Taste of Sage
Lumi Santana is a chef with a gift: she can perceive a person’s emotions by tasting their cooking. When her restaurant fails, she is forced to take a position as sous chef at a staid, traditional French restaurant owned by Julien Dax, a celebrated chef known for his acid tongue as well as his brilliant smile.
Make a Scene
Retta Majors is having a bad day. But that’s to be expected when your ex gets engaged to your cousin. Instead of (totally) freaking out, Retta decides to attend the wedding with her amazing, faithful, and handsome boyfriend.
One problem: He doesn’t exist.
The Enemy
Ryan Henderson is back in town for our best friends’ wedding, and I plan on showing him exactly how much I don’t care about him. A lot has changed since our feuding days. I’m a successful bakery owner now, and I plan to rub every delicious detail of my life in his ugly face.
Just one problem: his face is gorgeous.
Simmer Down
Nikki DiMarco knew life wouldn’t be all sunshine and coconuts when she quit her dream job to help her mom serve up mouthwatering Filipino dishes to hungry beach goers, but she didn’t expect the arrival of Callum James. He’s stealing her customers and fanning the flames of a public feud that makes her see sparks.
The solution? Let the upcoming Maui Food Festival decide their fate.
All Stirred Up
Susan Napier’s family once lived on the success of the high-end restaurants founded by her late grandfather. But bad luck and worse management has brought the business to the edge of financial ruin. Now it’s up to Susan to save the last remaining restaurant.
But what awaits Susan is Chris Baker, her grandfather’s former protégé—and her ex-boyfriend.
A Sweet Mess
Aubrey Choi loves living in her small town nestled in the foothills of California, running her highly successful bakery away from the watch of her strict Korean parents. When a cake mix-up and a harsh review threaten all of her hard work and her livelihood, she never thought the jaded food critic would turn out to be her one-night stand.
When things start heating up, both in and out of the kitchen, Aubrey will have to make a choice—to stick it out or risk her heart.
Love’s Recipe
After Rosaile is forced to return to her hometown St. Aster, Louisiana, she lands a waitressing job at Ady’s Creole Café. Life’s not done giving her lemons just yet, though. Ady’s Creole Café is on the brink of going out of business.
When Nicholas Fontaine hires Rosalie Underwood, he doesn’t expect his newest waitress to stir the pot. But there’s no time for butting heads. The clock is ticking and the business is tanking.
A Pho Love Story
For years, the Mais and the Nguyens have been at odds, having owned competing, neighboring pho restaurants. Bao and Linh, who’ve avoided each other for most of their lives, both suspect that the feud stems from feelings much deeper than friendly competition.
But then a chance encounter brings Linh and Bao in the same vicinity despite their best efforts and sparks fly, leading them both to wonder what took so long for them to connect.

I have read All Stirred Up and A Sweet Mess, but have many of these on my TBR. A Pho Love Story is a most anticipated book. I cannot wait to read it. I am loving the trend of so much food in books. It almost makes me want to cook.
